Dancing on a Cloud bridal waltz: video from CHAUVET Nimbus
Our most frequently asked question about the Dry Ice machine is:
Can this set off fire alarms?
The answer is no as this effect uses dry ice, not smoke.
During Weddings, Dancing on Clouds is used during the bridal waltz.
The machine is loaded approximately 10 minutes before the dance, and rolled to the side of the dance-floor, away from view, where it is activated at the discretion of the operator.
The machine can be started at the beginning of the bridal waltz or, as we prefer to use it, turned on during the climax of the song, as a surprise. We have found that guests react more to the mid-song display of dancing on clouds.
A good photographer or videographer can make this moment look magical in photos.
Dancing On Clouds is an effect, utilising a dry-ice machine, which, when loaded with steaming water and dry-ice produces a thick white cloud.
We only use professional dry-ice machines, which create thick, low-lying clouds that hug the dance floor as you dance your first dance together.
